During one of our visits to the camps to distribute desperately needed supplies, the children asked who we were. It was a moment of love that we took to explain what SHINE stands for. The gratifying feelings were in their eyes... in the hope we were able to give them and in the happiness they felt that we were there for them. Advocating for Justice does not necessarily happen with force rather with a simple actions of Love. Help SHINE continue

We will never forget your sacrifice mothers of Syria's martyrs... You carries them in your wombs and stayed up many nights to take care of them until they grew old to give their lives for Allah and the dignity of our nation.  We will never forget your tears today and stand humble before you... Thank you mothers of the honorable Syrians and may Allah help you for nothing can compensate your pain except heavens.  May this year and every year keep you the crowns upon us.  " Mothers of martyrs .... we are your children..
